Heidelberg Materials Aggregates is seeking a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to support the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Health & Safety Leadership: Enforcing compliance with statutory legislation and company safety policies
* Health & Safety Leadership: Leading by example in safe working practices and PPE usage
* Health & Safety Leadership: Holding the statutory appointment under Section 8 (1)(d) of the Quarries Regulations 1999
* Health & Safety Leadership: Conducting daily inspections and supporting contractor safety management
* Health & Safety Leadership: Ensuring weekly geotechnical inspections are completed
* Customer & Quality Focus: Ensuring materials meet specifications and customer expectations
* Customer & Quality Focus: Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams
* Customer & Quality Focus: Promoting the value of Heidelberg Materials through quality service and products
* Operational Excellence: Supporting cost-effective purchasing and stock management
* Operational Excellence: Assisting with profit estimations and operational reporting
* Operational Excellence: Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring timely servicing
* Operational Excellence: Fostering strong team communication and identifying training needs
* Operational Excellence: Upholding site standards, housekeeping, and community relations
* Proven experience in quarry or heavy industrial operations
