INSURANCE EXECUTIVE/INSURANCE ADVISOR / INSURANCE CONSULTANT/ INSURANCE SALES SPECIALIST

Salary: Basic salary up to £26,000 / OTE up to £30,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Permanent

Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham)

This role is a hybrid role, with maximum 80% of the time working from home and requires circa 1 out of every 4 Saturdays worked (9am - 1pm).

Your role:

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Personal Lines Insurance Consultant to join our growing team.

This role isn’t about cold calling or hard selling. Instead, you’ll be speaking with people who are already interested – either through our outbound team or direct inbound enquiries. You are to Listen, understand, and recommend the right home or motor insurance policy from our panel of trusted providers.

Alongside a competitive salary, our consultants earn on average £500 a month in bonuses, plus extra vouchers for top performers.

Full training will be provided and will learn sales techniques to help place and secure business. Whilst sales experience is necessary, previous insurance experience is preferable.

What you’ll be doing:

· Conduct fact-finding conversations over the telephone to understand clients’ needs and preferences.

· Present Insurance solutions to new clients tailored to their need, searching through a range of market-leading providers to find the best policy for each client.

1. Overcome objections and highlight key benefits in order to bind insurance policies
2. In line with our sales process ensure all payments are processed and documentations issued adhering to all FCA guidelines and regulations.
3. Keep accurate and comprehensive records on the CRM system.
4. Work as a team to ensure the best service to clients and deliver to agreed monthly sales and income target.
5. Generate future opportunities by cross selling other products and services

We’re looking for:

6. Proven telephone sales experience, with a track record of hitting targets.
7. Insurance experience is a preferable, but not essential – full training is provided.
8. Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of FCA guidelines preferred
9. Ability to learn quickly and apply product knowledge effectively
10. Excellent verbal communication skills.
11. Ambition, resilience, and a positive “can-do” attitude.
12. A team player who’s always looking to learn and grow.
