Interim Finance Improvement Advisor (CFO-Level) | Healthcare | Outside IR35 | £700–£1000/day
Location: UK-based, hybrid working (2–3 days on-site weekly)

Day Rate: £700-£1000 per day (outside IR35), depending on experience

We are proud to be partnering with a leading UK healthcare organisation urgently seeking an Interim Finance Improvement Advisor to drive forward a critical period of financial transformation. This is a senior-level role requiring a hands-on, strategic finance leader with a track record of delivering measurable improvements in complex environments.
As a CFO-level SME, you will report to the Board and Executive Team, taking ownership of core finance transformation priorities including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), data integrity, operational finance, reporting accuracy and best-practice systems implementation.
Alongside technical improvement, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and upskilling the internal finance team, embedding sustainable capability across the function.
Lead end-to-end financial transformation programmes across FP&A, operations, management accounts and data management
Identify inefficiencies and implement robust financial controls, systems and reporting structures
Collaborate closely with executive leadership and multi-disciplinary teams to support delivery of strategic and financial goals
Act as a trusted advisor to the Board on matters of performance, efficiency, and investment
Mentor and support existing finance staff, embedding a culture of high performance and accountability
Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO, ideally within the NHS or wider UK healthcare sector
