Emma Jameson - neurodivergent psychotherapist
Welcome! I’m passionate about helping people explore what it means to relate to themselves and others in ways that feel meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with who they truly are.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood and like you didn’t quite fit into other spaces meant to support you.
My practice centres around creating a space where you are welcome to show up exactly as you are. You don’t need to explain or justify yourself, find the ‘right’ words, or fit into any mould.
Therapy with me is collaborative and flexible, not something you have to perform or get right. Together, we’ll find a way of working that honours your pace, your communication style, and your unique way of being in the world.
I offer integrative psychotherapy, meaning I draw from different approaches to adapt our work to you: your pace, your needs, and your way of being.
I work holistically, so we’ll consider your emotional, physical, and relational experiences. Therapy is a space to gently make sense of things, connect more deeply with yourself, and move toward the kind of life and relationships that feel possible for you.
I have particular interest and experience in:
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy: I work with autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent adults in ways that support self-understanding, unmasking, and working with (not against) your brain. This space is for you, not for making you more ‘acceptable’ to others.
Therapy that centres communication difference: Whether you find talking or social interaction hard, or struggle to feel fully yourself in therapy, we can adapt how we work together, including working creatively.
