Project Manager - Storeroom Services role at ERIKS UK & Ireland
Responsibilities
* Storeroom optimisation & implementation – Lead projects to set up, improve, or transition customer MRO storerooms, including cataloguing parts, introducing standardised taxonomies, and integrating storeroom data into ERP systems.
* Customer liaison & relationship management – Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring storeroom solutions align with customer requirements, operational goals, and compliance standards.
* Project planning & delivery – Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of storeroom services within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
* Team & resource coordination – Coordinate ERIKS engineers and third parties, ensuring that roles, responsibilities, and workloads are clear for smooth execution of projects.
* Data management & reporting – Oversee storeroom data accuracy, including stock levels, part descriptions, and usage reporting, while providing regular updates and insights to both ERIKS management and customers.
Hours of Work
Mon – Fri – 08:30am – 17:30pm; 60 mins break; 40 hours per week
Key Skills, Experience & Requirements
* Project & stakeholder management – proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects while engaging confidently with customers, engineers, and managers.
* MRO & storeroom expertise – hands-on understanding of inventory control, ERP systems (SAP/Maximo), and best practices in managing spares and critical stock.
* Data & process improvement mindset – skilled at analysing stock data, spotting inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that reduce downtime and costs.
* Customer focus & communication – able to build trust, explain technical details clearly, and align storeroom services with customer goals.
* Adaptability & continuous improvement – resilient in changing environments, proactive in driving improvements, and ideally experienced in Lean/Six Sigma or similar methods.
