TRS Staffing Solutions, are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer working for an Operator in the low carbon energy transition sector.
Main task within role
1. Supporting all aspects of Quality across the breadth of the project organization.
2. Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
3. Support the effective planning of quality across the full scope of services under the project. This shall include the allocation of quality inspection resources.
4. Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across the contractor organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc).
5. Supporting the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
6. Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required.
7. Supporting effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services.
8. Participate in mark up of inspection test plans.
9. Coordination of inspection activities.
10. Coordinate IRN process.
11. Raise inspection assignments as per identified inspection points marked in ITP.
12. Liaise with approved inspection agencies for suitable qualified, experienced inspector.
13. Liaise with Discipline Engineers regarding inspection / expediting activities.
14. Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
15. Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project department to achieve these goals.
Key Skills / Qualifications
16. Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001.
17. Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
18. Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
19. QC Coordinator experience required.
20. Previous experience in QC inspection desirable.
21. High Level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
22. Fully conversant with Microsoft programmes.
General coordination
23. Attend PIM meetings at supplier premise.
24. Familiar with tier one contractor procurement activities.
25. Liaise with Contractor vender performance management team to align inspection activities.
26. Receive, review, analyse, file, distribute inspection reports as appropriate.
27. Ensure competence and appropriate relevant qualified inspector.
28. Review inspection reports for compliance performance and acceptance.
29. Liaise with Engineering team for ITP review, FAT attendance, related issues/ concerns.
30. Ensure manufacture record book is completed, reviewed, endorsed, and appropriately saved in agreed storage location.
31. Feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
