Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team, with a focus on cable and wire harness assembly. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
* Cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wires and connectors using machine & hand tools.
* Assemble cables and wire harnesses according to wiring diagrams, or work instructions.
* Operate equipment such as wire cutting machines, crimp tools, heat shrink systems, and soldering stations.
* Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for cable and wire harness assembly.
* Document work accurately and maintain production records in accordance with quality control processes.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area; report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small components and fine wiring.
* Ability to follow instructions with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Other skills
* Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and/or cable and wire harness assembly preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
* Familiarity with crimping, stripping, soldering, and terminating techniques.
* Basic computer skills – nice to have
