Electronics Design Engineer - Power Bias

I’m working with a well-established UK engineering manufacturer that’s looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to its Engineering & R&D team.
This is a hands-on role focused on the design, simulation, testing, and development of high-power electronic systems used in demanding, safety-critical applications for a global customer base.
What you’ll be doing
* Designing and developing inverter and rectifier systems
* Taking concepts through to working prototypes
* Hands-on testing, bring-up, fault-finding, and validation
* Producing clear test reports and technical documentation
* Creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
* Supporting production implementation and continuous improvement
What they're looking for
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
* Experience with circuit design & simulation (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar)
* Confident working hands-on with oscilloscopes, power analysers, and test equipment
* Comfortable working safely with high voltage (up to 600V AC/DC) and high power systems
* Organised, methodical, and a strong problem-solver
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have:
Embedded systems, microcontrollers, PCB design/layout, or broader analogue/digital hardware experience.
