You’ll be part of a collaborative Service & Infrastructure function, reporting to the Head of Technical Operations, and will be actively involved in delivery‑often on‑site‑to provide leadership, escalation support, and ensure service, support, and maintenance are always considered.

Key Responsibilities

o Weekly Checkpoint Schedules (agendas and outcomes)
o Resource Allocation Plans
o Risk & Issue Logs with mitigation strategies
o Change Control Processes
o Contingency & Time Estimation: Build contingency into project planning to manage uncertainty and risk; Ensure time estimates are realistic and account for BAU responsibilities and competing priorities of project item owners.
* Service Alignment

Collaborate with service teams to ensure seamless handover and operational readiness.

Ensure long‑term support and maintenance considerations are factored into all technical solutions.

* Budget Management

Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets with accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.

Align financial planning with project milestones and resource needs.

* Portfolio Support

Align project outcomes with broader business objectives.

Support prioritisation, resource balancing, and portfolio‑level reporting.

* Technical Delivery

Coordinate infrastructure and networking deployments across Europe.

Work directly with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.

Hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies is essential.

* Communication & Reporting

Provide weekly progress updates to stakeholders.

Lead regular checkpoint calls with internal and external teams.

Escalate risks and issues with actionable solutions.

On‑site presence during key project activities is expected to ensure ownership, support, and escalation management.

* Qualifications
o Proven experience managing infrastructure and technical operations projects (e.g., networks, data centres, physical tech rollouts)
o Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, project methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP), and frameworks like ITIL
o Hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies and European networking deployments
