Post graduate diploma in Systemic Family Practice (SFP) Eating Disorders x 1 post
PGD in Systemic Family Practice (SFP) Self Harm and Conduct x 1 post
If you already have a core qualification such as Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RLD), Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or creative therapies e.g. Art Therapy - with proof of relevant professional registration Or recognised degree level broad based health & social care qualification which will require completion of The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Knowledge Skills and Attributes (2) you will be considered for B6
If you have a Degree level qualification and/or equivalent experience in a child and family related field e.g. social work, youth and community work, nursing you will be considered for the B5 post along with knowledge and skills framework you would be eligible to apply to B5.

The successful applicants will work within CYP MH as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality, outcome informed, focused and evidence-based interventions for children and young people in accordance with the competency framework for their therapeutic modality.
Applicants need to be able to start the Post Graduate training programme taught academic dates in January 2026 and commit to attendance at all university based taught and self-study days required by Manchester University.
You will work in the service for the remaining days of the week using your newly developed skills to ensure you gain the necessary clinical practice hours to fulfil the academic programme. This is 200 hours of modality and case specific practice for the full time courses.
