Description Do you love creating TikToks and Instagram reels, and enjoy trying new things and helping others? The Student Communications team is looking for student content creators to showcase life at the University of Nottingham! You’ll be creating fun, relatable video content for Instagram aiming to help other students, create a sense of belonging and answer common queries. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience that’s flexible with your studies. Start Date: 22 September 2025 End Date: 30 June 2026 Working Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour plus holiday pay Location: Flexible We want to hear from you if you’re… Passionate about helping other students by sharing your Nottingham experience Creative and full of ideas, with a knowledge of current social media trends Skilled at filming and editing video content Comfortable in front of and behind the camera Reliable and can meet deadlines Love to try new things and test creative ideas. You’ll need to be enrolled as a current student at any level of study at the University of Nottingham and due to return for the 2025-26 academic year. What’s involved? You’ll need to commit to delivering one video per month for the entire academic year for the @UoNStudentNews Instagram account. You’ll work with the Student Communications Team to come up with ideas of relatable content for students, and then create these to meet deadlines. There may also be opportunities to create additional videos on an ad-hoc basis.
