An experienced and highly accomplished Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Head of Operations (Operations Manager), to lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive operational excellence across their Highways divisionBased in Merseyside this a fantastic role, and a hugely exciting time to join their business.They are in a period of huge growth, and are scaling the business due to the investment and growth opportunities currently in the market
This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to implement strategic improvements to sustain company growth
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and mentor operational teams across multiple business areas
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and performance
* Oversee delivery quality, resource allocation, and programme performance
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice across the organisation
* Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring collaborative working
* Oversee compliance, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
About You:
* Experience in a senior leadership role within a Roads / Highways business
* Previous experience within Infrastructure or Civil Engineering sectors
* Proven senior operational leadership experience
* Strong commercial acumen
* Possess strong strategic and planning skills, and a growth mindset
* Excellent leadership skills
