An Independent Mixed school in Brent is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent, full-time position commencing in September. The successful Maths Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop a strong foundation in mathematics and appreciate its real-world applications.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, catering to diverse learning styles.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE Mathematics examinations, ensuring a deep understanding of key concepts and techniques.
* Cultivate a supportive and challenging classroom environment that fosters confidence and problem-solving skills in mathematics.
* Assess and monitor student progress in maths, providing clear and constructive feedback as a Maths Teacher.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum and the creation of engaging resources.
* Encourage student participation in mathematical challenges and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
* Demonstrated experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* A strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly and engagingly as a Maths Teacher.
* Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities in their study of mathematics.
