As a regional sales manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent & key accounts in the southeast region, ranging from small independent retailers, buying groups, independent department stores, wholesalers, and distributors.
You will manage our existing customer base as well as seek out new business opportunities with new customers.
Your focus will be on SDA/MDA & Homewares.
Main responsibilities
* Maintain and develop our existing customer base to achieve profitable long-term business to meet set targets.
* Attend regular face-to-face meetings with your customer base (this is a field-based role).
* Identify new business opportunities and new routes to market.
* Run regular promotions to promote sales through marketing and training.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist with stock planning.
* Promote and drive brand awareness for our 3 great British brands.
* Attend regular sales meetings at our HQ in London.
* Attend all UK trade shows.
Requirements
* You will be required to visit customers 4 days a week to suit the needs of the customer base. The ideal candidate should be based in the Southeast to ensure coverage of the region.
* Experience in the SDA, MDA, and Homewares industry is preferable but not essential.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and achieving sales targets.
* You must be a good communicator with strong analytical skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
