Were currently recruiting for a thriving business based in Accrington who deliver essential services to local government and the wider community. They have a requirement for a detail-driven Finance Assistant to support and strengthen our finance operations over the next 12 months while they continue to grow further.
What youll do:
Youll take ownership of majority of transactional processes and contribute to wider business activities, including:
* Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently with associated reconciliation
* Managing internal expenditure across multiple cost centres and allocate costs accordingly
* Overseeing internal supplier contract management for all suppliers to the company
* Acting as the main point of contact for billing on all services provided within each specific service contract
* Managing company credit cards and handling all cash payments
* Monitoring cashflow and overseeing daily banking activity
* Ensuring timely reconciliation and allocation of funds
* Providing accurate monthly financial reporting to support business decisions
* Attending and supporting the planning of open days, awards evenings, and service user interactions
