Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Pay: £100 – £120 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Monmouthshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs looking to develop their classroom skills in a supportive environment.
Role Overview:
As a DT Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the DT curriculum (e.g. product design, resistant materials, or graphics)
* Encourage creativity and problem-solving through practical project work
* Ensure student progress through well-structured lessons and assessment
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Contribute to the wider school community and departmental planning
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Two recent professional references
* Right to work in the UK
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
