Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Assistant Driller to work for a company in UK Coverage
Role: Assistant Driller
Salary: £40,000
Location: UK Coverage
Hours: 48 hours per week
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Driller:
1. Support the Lead Driller with daily drilling operations
2. Assist with setting up, operating, and dismantling drilling equipment
3. Carry out manual handling tasks and basic equipment maintenance
4. Collect and label soil, rock, or water samples
5. Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised work site
6. Follow health & safety procedures, RAMS, and PPE requirements
7. Travel to sites across the UK and work outdoors in varying conditions
About you:
8. A practical, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic
9. Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
10. Willingness to learn and develop within the role
11. Ability to work well as part of a team
12. Previous drilling experience (water well or geothermal) desirable
13. NPORS/CPCS Telehandler qualification desirable
