12 MONTH FTC - 3 days a week in the office
Role Overview
Provide business and strategic support to the Middle Office function and wider organisation, working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure effective operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Bloomberg & Order Management Systems
* Perform day‑to‑day Bloomberg administration, including Front Office interaction and trade investigation.
* Administer compliance rules within the Bloomberg Order Management System (OMS).
* Maintain a thorough understanding of UCITS and NURS regulatory requirements.
* Accurately code Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), Scheme Particulars, Prospectuses, and FCA COLL rules within Bloomberg.
* Investigate and resolve OMS data issues.
Compliance, Monitoring & Reporting
* Review and investigate trade violations, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Deliver compliant trade and transaction regulatory reporting.
* Monitor transaction and trade reporting processes, investigating exceptions as required.
Oversight & Risk Management
* Provide oversight of outsourced service providers, including Custody, Middle Office, Back Office, and Banking functions, ensuring agreed KPIs are met.
* Maintain and update Operations checklists and procedures.
* Escalate issues directly with custodians and external suppliers where necessary.
* Identify, escalate, and support the resolution of operational risks and exceptions in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Head of Middle Office.

Skills & Technical Expertise
* Proven ability to manage relationships across multiple business functions.
* Proficient user of Bloomberg AIM and PORT.
* Strong knowledge of Bloomberg Compliance Manager (CMGR), including coding investment restrictions and compliance rules within an OMS.
* Experience in transaction and trade reporting monitoring and investigation.
* Project coordination and delivery experience.
* Industry qualifications preferred (e.g. IAQ, IOC, IMC).
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Operations role within an Asset Management firm.
