We have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Engineer based in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
Due to exponential growth and a consistent workload, we are currently looking for a Senior Operational Engineer (mechanical & electrical) to join the Operational Engineering team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of this unique role and act as a key player to support the continues growth of this successful service.

Key Responsibilities
You will cover a consistent pipeline of work across London and will undertake a lot of surveys and refurbishment projects within commercial office and industrial spaces for very high-profile clients.
* Undertaking Dilapidationreports
* Producing pre-acquisition and disposal technical due diligence reports
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance CAPEX reports.
* Management of projects and acting as project lead
* Input into innovation; continual improvement of services and products
* Support internal M&E teams with the delivery of projects and our FM Consultancy team to ensure client satisfaction through high quality execution of planned/reactive maintenance work
* Meet target KPIs on WIP management including HIW
* Business Development and Client Care awareness
What you need
* Relevant engineering degree, inclusive of building services modules or equivalent education/practical experience
* Excellent report writing and communication skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential
* Client facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience within a consultancy or from an M&E project engineering background
* Flexible and willing to cover a variety of work and travel to site across regions
* Knowledgeable in statutory compliance, regulations and standards relating to operational/existing building services.
