Job Title: Resident Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics (Full-Time)
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care within the Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a 6-month fixed-term post. Applicants must have GMC registration and the right to work in the UK at the time of application to be considered for shortlisting.
Details
* Full-time: 40 hours/week
* 1 in 12 on-call rota
Key Duties
* Routine work on the Neonatal Unit, including initial examinations, discharge examinations, and general care of babies on Post Natal Wards.
* Cover for resuscitative procedures in Delivery Suite, Operating Theatre, Emergency Department, and Community Dental Suite (located in Children and Young People's Outpatients).
* Routine work on general Paediatric Wards, including the Children's Observation Ward.
* Cover referrals from Emergency Department at Whiston Hospital and Surgical Team.
* Attend outpatient clinics for educational purposes.
* Handle emergency paediatric referrals from General Practitioners.
* Participate actively in audits and Grand Rounds.
