About the role:

The Warehouse Team Leader will ensure all areas of the warehouse function are structured to support timely dispatch of customer orders, ensuring compliance with customers’ requirements and working to the standards set out by the company policies and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations. Analyzing data to drive continuous improvement. Organizing training to ensure the team have the required skills to meet the demand of the operation.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

1. To lead the team carrying out all aspects of warehouse processes: Goods In, Pick, Pack, and dispatch process as per our quality standards and the customers’ requirements
2. Internal/external complaints resolution
3. Adhere to data protection
4. Address and resolve any HR issues that may arise from the team
5. Ensure effective ongoing communication within Amcare
6. Resolving order queries with Care Centre (CC) teams, Purchasing Department and/or Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) team
7. Using PC (MS Office) and hand scanner for the processing of orders
8. Support Associate Warehouse Manager in delivering Continuous Improvement projects within the Department
9. Ensures adherence to the Quality Management Standards
10. Ensures adherence to the EHS standards, Policies and Procedures
11. Ensuring the warehouse is always clean and tidy, including equipment and working areas
12. Lead the team in the stocktaking and cycle counting processes
13. Manage the administration of holidays with knowledge of the capacity plan
14. Performance management of team using performance monitoring tools and data
15. Identify and arrange training for the department
16. Plan and allocate rota
17. To ensure team follow all procedures
18. Manage administration of holidays, sicknesses, disciplinary and investigations
19. Support periodic reviews such as one to one, mid-year and end of year interviews
20. To perform any reasonable request from line management including providing cover in other departments when required
21. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

22. Educated to O’Level / GCSE standard
23. Experience in a similar working environment
24. Computer literacy skills including MS Office
25. People management skills
26. Work as part of a team
27. The ability to prioritize workload
28. The ability to take direction and work to deadlines
29. Excellent communication/ listening skills
30. Understand and evaluate risk management
31. Computer literate including all MS Office programs

Qualifications/Education:

32. Educated to O’Level / GCSE standard
33. Computer literacy skills including MS Office.

Travel Requirements:

34. The position may involve occasional travel. Most trips will include overnight travel.

Working Conditions:

35. This role is based in the UK with an onsite working structure.
36. Must be able to maintain and be responsible for a clean and safe working environment complying with the companies EHS policy. Where appropriate safety shoes/boots, hats and clothing must be worn.

Special Factors:

37. Must be flexible in working hours and work schedules to meet business demands.
