we’re looking for a risk + compliance business partner | 12 month fixed term contract to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment. this role requires experience in risk + compliance within the hospitality industry and will focus predominantly on food safety and health + safety practices within our restaurant environments

the role |
to partner wagamama in every aspect of risk + compliance. working in regional alignment with your regional director and area managers, the role is responsible for delivering safe environments for everyone at our restaurants by having an appropriate risk + compliance mindset and ways of working. as a risk and compliance business partner you will foster strong relationships within your regions, driving the safety culture, coaching restaurant teams and ensuring our restaurants are operating to the highest standard.
accountabilities |
* drive a culture of safety within your region and support the restaurant teams in executing the highest standards
* help develop and deliver scl visits, coaching audits and risk support visits
* investigate incidents with professionalism and rigor, taking appropriate action where required
* support restaurant management teams in carrying out their risk assessments
* liaise with new managers & head chefs to ensure a smooth start to their wagamama career
* ability to coach and train restaurant management on regulatory compliance processes and procedures, delivering workshops to improve controls within the business
* ensure external fire risk assessments and health & safety risk assessment activity is appropriately followed up in the restaurants
* drive a culture of safety within your region and support the restaurant teams in executing policies and procedures
* play an integral role in the business partnering trio for the region, using expertise to offer high challenge and high support to your restaurants
