Job Title: Senior Support Worker
Children's Residential
Location: Letchworth Garden City
Salary: £31.2k - £32.4k per year + additional £4,000-£8,000 per year for sleep-ins
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required

The Opportunity:
We are experiencing continued growth within our team and are seeking a full-time Senior Support Worker to join our amazing, supportive team in Letchworth. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a Team: Provide high-quality care and support, guiding and mentoring other support workers
* Role Model: Act as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, demonstrating best practices and nurturing a supportive environment
* Daily Care: Meet the everyday living needs of the children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change
* Build Relationships: Develop trusting relationships that make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children and young people you support
* Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the care provided meets the highest standards, and that each child has the opportunity to thrive
Requirements:
* Caring Nature: We seek individuals who are naturally caring, flexible, and resilient
* Experience: A minimum of 12 months of experience in the care sector is required
* Qualifications: Ideally, you will have a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare, which will be recognized in your hourly pay rate
* Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins
* Full UK Driving Licence
