Join to apply for the Facilities Technician role at The Meadowbrook School of Weston
The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Weston, MA, seven miles west of Boston, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our faculty. Meadowbrook is a mission-driven school, and we invite candidates to familiarize themselves with our mission before applying for the position. This position’s shift will be from 1pm - 9pm Monday through Friday, with some overtime/weekend work possible. It is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician will be an integral member of the facilities team. Given the working hours (1pm - 9pm), this shift will overlap with the end of the school day and continue through our after-school programs into the evening, when we often have renters on campus. Meadowbrook is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Successful candidates will be personable, able to connect with faculty, students, and renters, work independently, and exercise sound judgment.
We strongly encourage applications from people of color, LGBTQ+, or from communities that are historically underrepresented in independent schools. We are committed to an inclusive school environment for all staff.
