Business Development Manager – Luxury retreat
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 +

I have an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded sales professional to lead business growth within the retreats and exclusive-use events market. This role focuses on managing the full sales process—from lead generation to closing—while ensuring clients receive an exceptional, personalised experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business through proactive lead management, enquiry handling, proposal development, and negotiation.
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive) with accurate tracking and reporting.
* Collaborate with marketing, operations, and event teams to deliver seamless client handovers and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
* Develop long-term relationships with retreat leaders, corporate clients, and event organisers to encourage repeat business.
* Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within hospitality, events, or wellbeing sectors.
* Strong track record in managing the complete sales cycle and achieving targets.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* CRM proficiency, with strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a collaborative approach.
* Knowledge or passion for the retreat, wellbeing, or luxury hospitality industries is desirable.
* Experience working with premium venues or event destinations.
