What you’ll be doing
as a Business Analyst
1. Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and non-functional requirements.
2. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts across project teams.
3. Analyse current processes and develop As-Is and To-Be process maps to identify improvement opportunities.
4. Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify requirements and support decision-making.
5. Support project teams in prioritising work, defining scope, and delivering minimum viable products (MVP).
6. Apply appropriate Business Analysis tools and techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Work closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to maximise value and support delivery outcomes.
8. Produce high-quality documentation and ensure stakeholder agreement during key project stages.
9. Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
10. Contribute to improving processes and ensuring solutions meet business needs and project objectives.

Technical experience and skills
17. Experience working as a Business Analyst in digital or IT projects.
18. Experience working with project delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
19. Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
20. Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis techniques.
Desirable qualifications and experience
21. Experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
22. Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups, including internal teams and external partners.
23. Experience within utilities or other regulated industries.
Desirable technical skills and qualifications
24. BCS Business Analysis Diploma or equivalent certification.
25. Knowledge or experience of DevOps tools, processes, and delivery approaches.
26. Additional business analysis or agile delivery certifications.
