About the Role:
The Risk Analyst role will focus on Credit Risk primarily, supporting ongoing monitoring and oversight of the society’s lending. You’ll contribute to the development of credit policy and related models including affordability and stress testing to ensure prudent and regulatory compliant credit risk management.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor credit risk performance of the portfolio including arrears, provisions and portfolio trends.
* Maintain and develop credit risk policies across the lending lifecycle, including underwriting, portfolio management and collections.
* Provide 2 nd line oversight of credit decisioning.
* Support risk appetite setting, monitoring and reporting
* Review proposed product changes and credit strategies from a policy and risk perspective.
* Assist with Regulatory submissions, audits and Board/Committee reporting
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in credit risk, policy or risk governance role within financial services.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data clearly and meaningfully.
* Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Python for data manipulation, analysis and modelling.
* A degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.

Experience
The role requires experience in credit risk analysis, financial data interpretation, regulatory compliance and proficiency in risk management tools, ideally within financial services.
