Class 2 HIAB Driver - Builders Merchant Sector

Driver Hire Southampton is actively seeking Class 2 HIAB Drivers to work with our clients in the builders' merchant sector. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work, we offer flexible opportunities to match your needs.

The Role:
* Start time: 7:00am, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
* 8-10 hour working days
* Multidrop deliveries of building materials
* Deliveries to residential addresses and construction sites in and around Southampton
* Operating a HIAB with brick grab attachment
* Completing paperwork accurately
* Manual handling and heavy lifting may be involved
What We're Looking For:
* UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card
* HIAB licence (brick grab)
* Ideally 6 months of Class 2 driving experience (newly qualified drivers welcome)
* Previous multidrop experience is advantageous
* Own transport for commuting
* Strong timekeeping, communication, and customer service skills
* Ability to follow health and safety procedures
