We are looking for someone to join our existing team of Receptionist. We can offer either full or part time hours.

The average hours worked each week will be approximately 37 based on full time position, part time can be offered at around 24 hours a week. Although at time this may be exceed in busy periods.

The Reception shift patterns are – early shift –, middle shift – or late shift – – you will work a variety of these shifts, this does include working weekends and evenings.

Skills required: Ability to communicate effectively with people on all elves. We are looking from someone who is a customer service professional ideally with a restaurant/hotel or retail background and a warm personality. You will need to be an excellent communicator with people of all ages and cultures.

Desirable skills: Previous experience in a similar customer service role. Must have an excellent telephone manner and good computer skills. You will need to have the ability to multi task.

Job duties include: Front desk duties – greeting visitors, checking guests in and out of the Hotel to stay or use the Restaurant. You will be dealing with payments taken at Reception from guests. You will need to provide guests with the relevant information and deal with all enquiries/queries. You will be responsible for answering all telephone calls coming into the Hotel and dealing with them appropriately – this could mean taking a message and passing to the relevant person, or taking a reservation and processing the details. You will responsible for covering the Bar serving bar drinks, morning coffees, afternoon teas and restocking this area. Full training will be given if needed.

This is a full time, permanent appointment after an 8 week probation period. Annual leave entitlement is 28 days per year for full time. Please note that there is no additional holiday or pay for working on public holidays. Uniform is provided. Staff membership includes for use of leisure facilities after 8 week probation period completed.
