We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join us on that journey. This is a key role within the digital function, focused on delivering high-performing campaigns, driving customer engagement, and contributing directly to revenue growth.
About the Role
This role sits at the heart of customer communication, owning the end-to-end delivery of email marketing across multiple brands within the group.
You will be responsible for both campaign execution and lifecycle marketing, ensuring that email remains a strong, revenue-driving channel. The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic thinking, using customer data and insights to drive segmentation, personalisation, and continuous optimisation.
Working closely with digital, trading, and brand teams, you will ensure that email activity is aligned with wider business objectives and customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan and deliver email campaigns across Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock and Runners Need
* Own the end-to-end campaign process, including briefing, testing, scheduling, and deployment
* Manage and optimise automated customer journeys and lifecycle communications
* Drive segmentation and personalisation using customer data and insights
* Monitor campaign performance and deliver clear reporting to senior stakeholders
* Lead testing and optimisation to improve engagement, ROI, and revenue
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with trading and brand activity
* Manage and develop an Email Marketing Executive
* Work with stakeholders to optimise use of platforms such as Adobe Campaign
* Ensure all activity meets GDPR, deliverability, and best practice standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in email marketing within a retail or customer-focused environment
* Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, automation, and customer journeys
* Experience using email platforms such as Adobe Campaign or similar
* Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse performance and optimise campaigns
* Experience managing or supporting team members
* Ability to deliver campaigns end-to-end, from planning through to reporting
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Good understanding of email best practice, including testing, segmentation, and deliverability
* Confident working with stakeholders across different teams
