Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Lancashire County Council's Family Safeguarding team based in Burnley. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £36 per hour.

Hold and manage a caseload of Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings cases in line with statutory requirements.
Undertake robust assessments, including s47 enquiries, Child and Family Assessments, and Pre-proceedings work under the Public Law Outline (PLO).
Develop and review child protection and CIN plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners, ensuring the voice of the child is central to planning.
Prepare high-quality court statements, care plans, and other legal documentation as required, and attend court as the allocated social worker.
Engage families using the Family Safeguarding model - building on strengths while addressing risks through multi-disciplinary, trauma-informed interventions
Attend and contribute to relevant meetings such as core groups, case conferences, legal planning, and Looked After Child (LAC) reviews.
Maintain clear, timely, and accurate case records in line with local policies and national standards
Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, police, and specialist support services, to ensure coordinated and effective support for families
Participate in supervision and performance reviews, and actively contribute to service development and team discussions.Requirements:
Social Work Degree or equivalent
Social Work England registered
