Are you an experienced VAT professional looking to take the lead in a collaborative, people-first environment?
This is a key position within a growing VAT team, based in London with hybrid working (up to 3 days from home). You'll be joining a forward-thinking national tax practice where your ideas will be heard, your development supported, and your contribution truly valued.

What you’ll be doing
Leading complex UK and international VAT advisory projects
Overseeing return compliance and shaping process improvements
Supporting business development initiatives across the London office
Providing coaching, mentoring, and line management to a team of Managers and Assistants
Representing VAT in firmwide discussions, including sector groups and technical updates
Working alongside other service lines to expand VAT’s reach and relevance
About the team
You’ll join a close-knit London VAT team of 8, working in sync with a wider national group of experienced VAT professionals. There’s clear senior support, access to national expertise, and a leadership team committed to building something collaborative, ambitious, and enjoyable.

Strong UK VAT knowledge, with awareness of international issues
Confident delivering advice and reviewing technical work
Comfortable managing people and projects
A relationship builder with clients, colleagues, and other teams
Someone who wants to play an active part in a supportive, growing VAT practice
