We are recruiting for a nanny for a family in East Putney with two very energetic boys of 4 and 8 years old
The role requires working Monday to Friday /8pm in term time and 8am-8pm in school holidays
This is a permanent long, daily (live out) role
The start date is October.
Salary - can be equalised to the same amount each months whether term time or school holiday. Up to 50k gross per annum.
Responsibilities:
Support in their development
- social/emotional/physical/academic and overall character building. One child needs more support in emotional development.
Cooking for the children
- An understanding of vegetarian nutrition would be amazing or else someone who is willing to adapt and learn.
Housekeeping / house-organisation for the children -
Tidying up, laundry, organising school bags / school clothes
Pick up/drop offs
- Driver strongly preferred but not 100% essential
Bedtime -
Help with bedtime for at least one child and sometimes two
Personality fit
Integrates like family and can build a deep relationship with the children
- The family are sad to part ways with the previous nanny and are looking for someone who loves children and the job and can integrate as part of the family. Therefore someone who has stayed long term in previous roles and would plan to stay long term would be great
Cheerful, energetic and engaging
so that the boys enjoy their company
Independent and a self starter
Adaptable and flexible
- This is an important skill that the family teach to their Children, hence it's also something they value and would like to also find in their nanny
Can work well with parents
-Mother will be home most days and we have a good balance of the nanny having full independence with the mother spending time with the Children/helping out with pick ups/problem solving. The family would look for a nanny who can thrive in that environment.
Dog friendly
- The family have a 9yr old, mid-sized cockapoo. She is very friendly and very independent. She is out with a dog walker for 3-4 hours everyday. They are not looking for someone to take care of the dog but would need someone who likes dogs.
As with all our jobs you will need an enhanced (Not basic) DBS police check that is on the update system and first aid. You will need to be available in London in order to interview and trial with families in person.
