Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner on behalf of our client based in Brackmills, Northampton.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing and fast-paced logistics operation, where youll play a key role in planning and coordinating transport activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and routing of vehicles efficiently
* Managing daily transport operations
* Communicating with drivers and internal teams
* Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
* Handling any operational issues as they arise
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 10:00 18:00
* On-call 1 in 3 weekends
* Bank Holiday rota required (not every BH)
* Office-based role (with occasional flexibility / day in lieu provided for BH working)
Requirements
* Previous experience in transport planning or logistics essential
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills
