Newly Qualified Social Workers will commence on Grade 9 pay and job description before progressing to grade 10 after 2 years in post. Experienced social workers will commence at Grade 10 pay and job description. Both job descriptions can be viewed below. This position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month. Please note this additional payment will be reviewed on 31 March 2026. The successful candidate may be eligible for up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due to relocating to Ceredigion. Key Responsibilities

* Focus on early intervention to prevent escalation of need and support people to live the lives they choose.
Qualifications and Experience
* A qualified and registered Social Worker (Social Care Wales registration required).
* Experience or interest in working with adults.
* Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
* A commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
