The role
Finance Analyst

Here at Imperial Brands we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Central Support Finance Team as a Finance Analyst in our Head Office based in Bristol. Reporting into the Finance Manager for Central Support you will play a critical role in all aspects of financial management and partnering with Head office functions.
You will also play a key role in the development of financial models, reporting and analytics to drive financial insights and support decision making for the function.
Key accountabilities
* Business partnering with key functions in head office. This will include responsibility for month end accounts, forecasting, account reconciliations and balance sheet forecasting
* Developing analytical models and associated reports using all available systems (Anaplan, Microstrategy, SAP) to drive financial insights and support decision making. This will support regular reporting of all financial results & forecasts (P&L, Capex etc)
* Acting as a main point of contact with Finance Shared Services (IBM) for Head Office
* Running all aspects of SAP cost centre process management
* Conducting Capex reviews and running associated reporting for functional stakeholders
* Providing support for Finance and other projects as and when they arise.
* Deputising for the CSF Finance Manager when required
Skills & experience
* Part qualified with an appropriate professional body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Strong stakeholder management/business partnering skills to support relationship building with business functions
* Strong knowledge and interest in financial systems (Cognos controller, Microstrategy, Anaplan and SAP)
* Experience in building financial reports and models
* Highly Proficient in Finance systems such as SAP, Controller, Microstrategy and Anaplan
* Highly proficient in Microsoft systems such as Excel and Powerpoint
* Experience identifying and delivery improvements to models and processes.
* Strong communication skills, with an ability to be proactive and work autonomously
