* Salary: £55-70k depending on experience

* Contract: Permanent, full-time
* Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, standard operational hours, flexible with WFH
Overview
We are looking for a Firewall Specialist with strong, hands-on experience managing, designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall solutions across enterprise environments.
This role is heavily focused on firewall ownership- you will be responsible for the full life-cycle, from design and deployment through to optimisation, troubleshooting and ongoing support.

Essential:
* Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, including designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining solutions with either of - Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper SRX
* Deep understanding of firewall policy design, rule management, optimisation, and security hardening
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex firewall and network security issues in live environments
* Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, routing, VPNs) with the ability to apply them in a firewall-centric context
