Overview
This opportunity is for a Band 4 Assistant Clinical Psychologist within Wandsworth Behaviour and Communication Support Service (BACSS), in the Older People’s Mental Health Services. The role focuses on supporting people with dementia and behaviour that challenges who are living in care homes, with potential work in other parts of the Older People’s Team. We welcome applications from people who want to work with older people and their families/carers.
You will receive regular supervision from a senior psychologist, join established Clinical Psychologists within the team, and have access to a wider network of psychologists across the Cognition and Mental Health (CMHA) service line. The Trust’s Aspiring Clinical Psychologists Network is also available. The service emphasises the contribution of Clinical Psychology and maintains links with the ClinPsyD course at Surrey University.
