SEN Teaching Assistant – Internal Provision
Location: Perton, WV6, Staffordshire
Full-Time | ASAP Start | Until End of Academic Year
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Smile Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support an internal provision base in a supportive and well-led Perton school.
This is a long-term role ideal for someone experienced with SEND and SEMH needs, looking to make an immediate impact.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with SEND in a dedicated provision base
* Working closely with the HLTA
* Delivering 1:1 and small group support
* Managing behaviour and supporting SEMH needs
* Creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting SEND pupils (essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confident supporting SEMH / complex needs
Qualifications required:
* Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE)
* Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
* Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
* Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)
* Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
* Level 3 T Level in Education and Early Years (with placement completed)
* Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning
* Level 2 or 3 Specialist Supporting Teaching & Learning
* Level 2 or 3 Children and Young Persons Workforce
