We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Health & Social Care Trainer to join the team at Maria Mallaband Care Group. Working closely with the Learning & Development Team across our National portfolio of homes.
Reporting to our Group Head of Learning & Organisational Development you'll work collaboratively with functions across the business to support in the creation, delivery and evaluation of effective L&D programmes.
This role will be required to work some weekends and evenings to ensure all colleagues have appropriate access to learning outside of usual Monday-Friday business hours.
Responsibilities
1. Design and develop training programs and materials, suited to the needs of the resident population, both clinical and non-clinical.
2. Facilitate engaging and interactive sessions, workshops and webinars on various topics, such as, but not limited to, venipuncture, catheterisation, wound care, medication management.
3. Promote, encourage and champion high quality care delivery through engaging learning and coaching sessions.
4. Work in conjunction with the Quality and Operations team to be pro-active in reducing risk to residents and the wider business.
5. Support homes that are a business focus through service improvement plans and training plans, analysing clinical needs.
