Full-time – reporting to Managing Director
Our client is growing and they’re looking for an Estimator to join their team!
They are a leading fencing contractor operating across new build housing, commercial, schools and public sector projects throughout Hampshire, Wiltshire and surrounding counties. They’re known for quality, reliability and delivering projects safely, on time and on budget.

The Role
This is an office-based estimating role supporting pricing and tender submissions across all sectors, primarily new build housing and commercial developments.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director to prepare accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders.
Occasional site visits may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Reviewing drawings and tender documents
2. Preparing accurate cost estimates
3. Pricing materials, labour, plant and subcontract works
4. Comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations
5. Submitting clear and professional tenders on time
6. Identifying risks, cost savings and commercial opportunities
7. Supporting smooth handover of successful projects
8. Maintaining up-to-date pricing information
What They’re Looking For
9. Experience in construction estimating, fencing, landscaping or related sectors
10. Experience pricing new build housing and/or commercial projects
11. A good practical understanding of site-based work
12. Strong numerical and commercial skills
13. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
14. Organised, methodical and deadline-focused
15. Confident using Excel and estimating systems
16. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
17. Experience working with housing developers or main contractors
