Norwich City Council is seeking a proactive and organised Prevention support officer to help support our prevention and early intervention agenda. You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of programmes that tackle health and financial inequalities, embed prevention and early intervention, and strengthen neighbourhood-level health integration.

Job Description
The role will support the development and delivery of prevention projects within the Independent living team, providing data analysis, stakeholder engagement and project delivery support and will work collaboratively with delivery teams. The postholder will work closely with the Support NoW project to identify those residents most in need of support so project management, and inter-personal skills will be key.
Responsibilities
* Support effective delivery of prevention projects by: effectively managing projects from inception to completion
* producing and maintaining project documents and effectively managing outcomes
* producing progress reports, presented in an appropriate format to enable decision making
* working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders within and outside the council to support prevention projects
Assist with data collection, reporting, and evaluation of prevention and early intervention outcomes
Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement, and partnership activities and supporting communication between officers, partners, and communities
Work collaboratively and develop excellent relationships across the council, and with statutory, voluntary sector and community partners
Skills Required
* Highly organised and detail-oriented
* A confident communicator and relationship-builder
* Passionate about tackling inequality and supporting vulnerable communities
* Comfortable working with data and reporting tools
* Able to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
* Experience of programme and project support and co-ordination.
* Experience of using data to inform work and researching best practice.
Qualifications
Qualifications To A Level Or Equivalent, Or Relevant Experience.
