Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic Rotational Occupational Therapist who integrates quickly into a team setting and will support in driving service provisions forward.

Clinical Areas
Medical/Surgical Rehab, Neurology, Rapid Response, and Community. Rotations 6 months, some 7 day services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* Relevant student training course or qualification
* HCPC Registered
* Substantial postgraduate experience
* Evidence of postgraduate short courses, CPD, reflective practice
* Evidence of group working, audit, research work
* First line management experience (desirable)
Main Duties
* Perform autonomous specialist occupational therapy assessment of patients with diverse presentations.
* Use clinical reasoning to provide diagnosis and develop, deliver and adapt individualized treatment programmes.
* Implement monitoring and evaluation of treatment to measure progress and outcomes to ensure effectiveness of interventions and service delivery.
* Be professionally and legally accountable for own work and that of supervised physiotherapists and assistants.
* Provide clinical cover during staff absences with guidance from senior staff if required.
* Participate in 7 day working, evening/weekend duty rotas and/or emergency/on call rotas.
* Identify and carry out Home Visits in accordance with Trust and professional standards and assess patient condition and suitability for discharge.
