As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of improving the lives of children in care. Your main focus will be to ensure high-quality social work practice within your team. You will lead, mentor, and develop other social workers, promoting restorative practices and carrying a reduced caseload of complex cases. What you will do: Lead and develop the professional practice of your team members to ensure high standards. Model restorative practices to foster positive change within families and communities. Hold a reduced caseload comprising complex and challenging cases involving children and young people. Support and deputise for the Team Manager as and when required. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice techniques to support professional development. Engage in significant advocacy for children and their families, focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes. Qualifications / Requirements: Social Work qualified professional registered with Social Work England. Substantial post-qualifying experience working with children and their carers. Expertise in navigating a pressurised social work environment. Up-to-date knowledge of social work legislation and best practices.
