Nursery Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our early years team. You will support the learning, play, and development of children aged 0–5, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. Start date: September 2025.
Responsibilities:
1. Support children’s learning and emotional development following the EYFS framework.
2. Assist in delivering engaging activities to promote language, numeracy, and social skills.
3. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment.
4. Support children with personal care routines, including feeding and toileting.
5. Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to their learning journeys.
6. Collaborate with the nursery team to promote positive outcomes for all children.
Ideal Candidate:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (desirable).
* A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Positive attitude and passion for working with young children.
