Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is thrilled to announce the introduction of providing nursing care within our Transitional Care Service, spanning both the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) and Nottingham City Hospital campuses. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Band 5 Neonatal Transitional Care Nurses to join us on this exciting journey, shaping the future of care for babies and their families.
Working within the maternity and neonatal services at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) offers an unparalleled opportunity to be part of one of the UKs largest and most respected teaching hospital trusts, known for its dedication to excellence and innovation in care. NMC Registration (Adult or Childrens Nurse)
Experience in neonatal care (further training will be provided)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Competent in giving IV medications
Competent, or willing to gain competence, to take peripheral blood samples
Experience of supervising non-registered staff
Commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centred care
Excel in prioritising and delegating workload
Able to manage a caseload of patients
Enthusiastic
Motivated
