Hunter Valley Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing evidence-based nursing care
2. Liaising with the multidisciplinary team
3. Ensuring patient and staff safety
4. Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver patient care
5. Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for managing their health, recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
Hunter Valley Private Hospital is located on the fringe of Newcastle, close to beaches, vineyards, and the Hunter Valley. The hospital is an 83-bed facility offering a variety of surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services.

Requirements:
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Working with Children Check
* Specialty nursing experience (desired)
* Commitment to quality patient care
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Basic computer skills
