Since the 1980s, they have evolved alongside developments in 12V/24V systems, supporting applications across automotive auxiliary systems, telecoms backup power, mobility, industrial equipment, and specialist battery-powered systems. Unlike high-voltage EV OEM environments, this business focuses on practical, embedded, and applied low-voltage engineering solutions, combining standard and bespoke product development with servicing, repair, and long-term customer support. This is a close-knit SME environment where engineers have real influence over product direction and technical decisions. The role You will be the technical authority for low-voltage battery charging and DC power systems, leading product development and improving engineering performance across design, manufacturing, and field applications. This role is both hands-on and strategic - youll own the product roadmap while actively solving real engineering problems. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the engineering team, including capability development and succession planning.
