About the Flodigarry Hotel

The Flodigarry Hotel is a small, family run hotel situated in the small village of Flodigarry, on the Isle of Skye. The Hotel is surrounded by private grounds all of which looks out to one of the most breath‑taking views Scotland has to offer.

The Isle of Skye is an incredibly popular holiday destination with people visiting from around the world. It is important that the successful candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced environments but most importantly shares our goal, providing guests with the our famous highland hospitality we are known for, ensuring they leave with incredible memories of their experience.

Responsibilities may include some of the following

* Deliver high standards of food preparation and service at all times
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a consistently high standard
* Take full responsibility for running your own section during service
* Ensure adequate stock levels and proper organisation within your station
* Monitor portion control and minimise waste to support budget targets
* Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
* Supervise, support, and train junior team members, including commis chefs
* Work closely with the Head Chef and the Executive Chef on menu development and new dishes
* Follow direction from senior kitchen leadership and contribute to a well‑organised kitchen environment


Skills/Qualities Required

* Experience is essential
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
* Food Hygiene
* Must work well with Head Chef to maintain kitchen organisation
* Food Hygiene
* Good Communication Skills
* Must work well within a team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Reliable with great timekeeping
