Arcus FM are currently recruiting a Resident M&E Engineer to join our dedicated on-site team at our client’s facility in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to work in a technically varied, customer-facing role.

What You'll Be Doing
About the role:
As a Resident Engineer you will be our clients first point of contact on-site, being responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and general building services support.
Tasks include:
5. Emergency lighting & lamp changes
6. Electrical & fire alarm testing
7. Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and electrical)
8. Minor plumbing and fabric maintenance
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
10. Delivering excellent service to our clients
You’ll work independently with the support of a wider team, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant facility.
What We're Looking For
Electrical Bias (Salary Band – Level 2)
Essential:
11. C&G Level 3 – 2365 Electrical Installation Diploma
12. AM2
13. 18th Edition
14. Hands-on experience in an M&E or multi-skilled engineering role
15. Experience with delivering PPM
16. Strong communication and organisational skills
17. Health & Safety awareness
Multi-Skilled (Salary Band – Level 1)
Essential:
18. Hands-on experience in an M&E or multi-skilled engineering role
19. Experience with delivering PPM
20. Strong communication and organisational skills
21. Health & Safety awareness
Desirable:
22. IOSH Working Safely
23. Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience
Additional info:
24. The role will involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays)
25. 5 days on, 2 days off - Rotating shift pattern
26. On-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
